Nela Elle
Nela Elle is a Cameroonian movement artist and creative entrepreneur passionate about dance, inclusion, and empowerment, she develops and coordinates artistic initiatives that inspire communities across West Africa.
We met during my stay in Ghana last year and I had the pleasure to get some insights into the world of dance in Ghana through a workshop that Nela took me along to.

Candice Vernon
Candice Vernon is a Writer/Director/Producer, from the small island of Jamaica. She is also the host and leader of Soho House West Hollywood´s Women In Film Club. She wrote and directed, „The Dream Still Lives“, a tribute video by Stevie Wonder & CAA, for Martin Luther King Jr.s 50th anniversary of his passing, starring various celebrities such as The Obama’s, Common, Meryl Streep, Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen, and many more.

James Ebo Whyte
James Ebo Whyte is an author, playwright, motivational speaker and founder of "Roverman Productions" a live theatre company based in Ghana.
He has written and directed more than 56 plays since 2008 and published two novels, "The Deal" and "The Perfect Couple".
He is accalimed as Ghana´s most successful playwright and is known to have revived theatre after its long dormancy due to political upheavals.

Nana Sam is an amazing self taught musical theatre actress, playwright, award winning commercial model and voice over artist from the central region of Ghana.
We met at the IBTS (International Black Theatre Summit) held in Accra, Ghana in April 2025, where Nana Sam was a correspondent for the Ghanaian theatre.

Tonya Pinkins
Tonya Pinkins is an american actress and filmmaker, and as she calls herself, an artivist-actorpreneur.
Known for her various roles on Broadway and in TV, she has been nominated for three Tony Awards winning the Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for Jelly’s Last Jam.
Her debut feature film ‘Red Pill’ was an official selection at the 2021 Pan African Film Festival, won the Best Black Lives Matter Feature amongst others, being awarded in numerous festivals around the globe.
Our paths crossed at the IBTS (International Black Theatre Summit) in Accra, Ghana in April 2025, where I had the honor to interview her.

She is a multi-hyphenate performing artist, with her own podcast and media company, and a charming and wonderful person to be around.
